"Tears, idle tears, I know not what they mean. Tears from the depth of some divine despair, Rise in the heart and gather in the eyes, In looking at the happy autumn fields, And thinking of the days that are no more". A poem I learned from my father at a very young age and which surfaces every now and then. It's by Alfred Lord Tennyson - 1847. I added the Monarch Butterfly not knowing at the time that I would spend 6 weeks in San Miguel de Allende where these butterflies migrate in the millions every year.
