This painting envisions a future where women of all colors and cultures join hands to collectively effect positive change in the world. Where, by uniting with other women, they feel free: free to challenge and break boundaries, to empower other women, to make their own choices, to walk the streets unthreatened and to bring a new sense of peace and justice. The power of women is unmistakable as they gather momentum, finally recognize their true potential and rise up in revolution to effect real change around the world. This image was used by AMNISTIE INTERNATIONALE QUÉBEC for its 2013-2014 peace card.
