Having read in books or seen in the movies, I can imagine how difficult it would be for those, who have witnessed the turbulence from close quarters, to relive those memories.

We really appreciated your article. The Braganza Hotel continued as a landmark well beyond partition and is part of our memories as we visited with Mavis, Eddy & Keith and enjoyed others of the community at home and at the Chota Gym.
We recall also with pleasure your exhibit in Kirkland.

have read with interest your article on the Partition of India. I loved the memories & in fact remember too the hard times & bloodshed that occurred- they are still memories of a good country to me as my parents are now buried in Lahore.

Thanks. Cheryl, for this brilliant article -- I was filled with nostalgia and, of course, a bit of sadness. Syd and I were very involved with your parents and the famous hotel and the memories are now treasured. Keep up the good work. Love Mavis and Tony.
