Self Portrait with Geeta - a voyage of discovery
30 x 40 ins, acrylic. Monday, Nov.9. This self portrait was directed by Geeta Nadkarni for a new CBC film project called ROOTS. The crew, Jerome & Jean, spent all day filming in my studio, then worked on the footage to extract these 6 minutes. Since I had never painted in front of a camera before, it was an interesting experiment, emotionally charged as you can see.
