December 1, 2009 - at the Salvation Army Breakfast fundraiser. I'm holding the original painting LA COUPE GRISE - BONJOUR which I did yesterday on hearing of the Alouettes win in Calgary. Larry spoke to those gathered at the Queen E. fundraiser about doing our part, however simple and small, in becoming engaged and helping those who are less fortunate. He is wonderfully charismatic and I could see how people are drawn to him. I gave him a card of the painting which he said his daughter would love as she is married to Duvall, who kicked the winning goal. UPDATE Dec. 2010: Larry Smith just named to the Senate by Stephen Harper.
