"Follow me, a timid young girl, who grew up on the Indian sub-continent, found her cultural awakening in Italy and England before crossing the Atlantic to the New World, Montreal, Quebec, where she dropped anchor in 1966.   The works exhibited date from the early years and cover periods of my life which were filled with promise.  Flowers in all their glory, luminous landscapes, silhouettes, many silhouettes of women, emerging from the shadow to affirm themselves in the brilliance of the sun, to plead for a better world for themselves and their children.
