Autumn Fire
8 x 8 ins. October 8, 2012. Since 1966, I have been mesmerized by the colors of the fall in Canada. Memories of leaf-kicking and the sounds of crunch, crunch still excite me. Nowhere else in the world can one experience such a magical display. For me, it's "extreme beauty" and oh, what a gift!

"I threw a stone at the sunset. It cracked and burst into a million fragments, tumbling upon the sky, trembling down like deep tears."

.. from a poem I wrote about my first fall. Sept. 1966 - Montreal.
